Brittany Ferries

Following the announcement (at the end of 2024) of the island’s new ferry operator, VisitGuernsey launched a reactive Meta campaign targeting the Brittany and Normandy regions.  

The adverts, which were pushed out across Facebook and Instagram, were seen 1.6 million times, resulting in 40,268 clicks to the VisitGuernsey website. The uplift in French visitors was seen in year-on-year comparisons, with 13% of all site visitors in December 2024 coming from France, compared to 3% in December the previous year. 

VisitGuernsey continue to work closely with Brittany Ferries on a number of exciting initiatives, including co-funded campaigns for both the UK and France. Throughout 2025, Brittany Ferries have also been introducing the Islands of Guernsey to their own audience, which includes an email database of more than half a million.
