Under the shared ‘Visit Channel Islands’ branding, VisitGuernsey partnered with Visit Jersey to attend ITB Berlin from 3–5 March 2026 - Europe’s largest travel trade show and widely regarded as the world’s leading industry event, attracting around 5,600 exhibitors and 100,000 attendees.
Represented by Marketing Manager Sam Claxton and German PR representative Scott Crouch, VisitGuernsey held a busy schedule of meetings with German tour operators, focused on securing new partnerships, developing 2027 product, and strengthening connectivity.
The event provided a valuable platform to showcase the unique appeal of the Channel Islands as a combined, complementary destination. Working collaboratively allows us to tell a richer story, extend our reach, and unlock greater opportunities in key European markets, where demand for multi-island experiences continues to grow.
As a result, we are now supporting partners to programme twin-centre itineraries to Guernsey and Jersey for 2027, leveraging the new British Airways Heathrow route, with strong connections to Germany, alongside improved inter-island air and sea links. The level of interest and forward planning from partners reflects increasing enthusiasm for the Channel Islands as a joined-up offering.
