Fukku celebrated in the 2025 Michelin Guide

Fukku celebrated in the 2025 Michelin Guide

This marks a major milestone for the island’s dining scene, and recognises the restaurant among the top culinary destinations in Great Britain & Ireland.

Whilst originally established in 2022, it moved to its current larger location in 2025 and has quickly become a favourite for locals and visitors with its contemporary Japanese cuisine. The restaurant’s menu features expertly prepared dishes including tempura, robata, ramen and sushi, all crafted with care and delivered with skill in its lively dining space.

“We were very excited and surprised to be included in the Michelin Guide,” said Sam Jarrold, owner of Fukku.

“It’s an incredible honour, not just for our team but for the broader Guernsey food scene. We put so much passion into what we do, and it’s fantastic to see that recognised. This motivates us even more to keep pushing and delighting every guest who walks through our door.”

Being recognised in the Michelin Guide brings Fukku alongside other recent additions in the Channel Islands, such as Vraic and Alba, underlining the expanding reputation of Guernsey as a destination for excellent dining.

Fukku’s inclusion in the guide reflects the Michelin inspectors’ appreciation for focused concepts and high-quality ingredient-led cooking, qualities the restaurant has become known for since opening its doors at its new location.
