Brittany Ferries is taking bookings for travel between Guernsey, Poole and St Malo* up to 07 November 2027 following publication of its high-speed timetable from November this year. The timetable closely mirrors 2026, with up to daily return sailings to St Malo and departures to Poole up to six days a week aboard Voyager, the fastest ship in the Brittany Ferries’ fleet, capable of speeds up to 42 knots (48 mph). The schedule offers frequent travel for Islanders and supports the local tourism and hospitality sectors by maintaining consistent timings with the previous two seasons. The service will also see one weekly trip to Jersey, in line with the contract signed with the States of Guernsey in 2025.

"Morning departures from St Malo with evening returns to France have proved particularly popular with both visitors and Islanders, alongside our morning departures to Poole and afternoon return services.”
The company has been working with Visit Guernsey to encourage day visitors to return for overnight stays. Against a backdrop of late bookings across the travel industry, it is seeing longer booking lead times and an increase in average length of stay. Brittany Ferries believes this indicates progress towards the joint strategic aims of broadening Guernsey’s appeal and converting day visitors into staycations.
Mr Acheson added:
“Brittany Ferries exists to connect people, facilitate trade and enrich the regions we serve. These statistics indicate there is scope for us to continue to promote the Island beyond our core ports in France, in addition to developing weekend and longer breaks from the UK mainland.”
Brittany Ferries is also working with organisers of key Channel Islands’ events to explore how these can be accommodated within the new schedule. Discussions are continuing with the States of Guernsey and Visit Guernsey and the two port authorities through the Ferry Operators Working Group, with the aim of supporting important events in the local calendar.
That wider network is within easy reach: customers travelling from Guernsey can save 30% on Brittany Ferries' sailings elsewhere in its network when booked alongside a Channel Islands crossing, including routes to Santander and Bilbao in Spain and Cork and Rosslare in Ireland, an initiative first introduced in 2024 that continues to prove popular.
