Help us build Guernsey's autism-friendly tourism offering

Supporting accessible experiences for all

VisitGuernsey is working to develop a clearer picture of the autism-friendly experiences, attractions, accommodation providers, transport services and venues available across the Islands.

Many businesses already provide adaptations, quiet spaces, sensory considerations, staff training, flexible booking options or accessible visitor experiences, but this information is not always easy for visitors to find.

By gathering details from tourism businesses and organisations, we aim to create a helpful resource that supports visitors with autism and their families when planning and enjoying their stay in Guernsey.

Why it matters

For many autistic visitors, unclear information, unfamiliar environments and sensory challenges can create barriers to travel. By sharing practical information about the support and facilities available, we can help visitors feel more confident when choosing Guernsey as a destination.

Small adjustments can make a significant difference, and many businesses may already be offering autism-friendly features without recognising them as such.
