VisitGuernsey Named Destination Brand of the Year at 2026 Travel Marketing Awards

VisitGuernsey has been named Destination Brand of the Year at the prestigious 2026 Travel Marketing Awards, taking home the coveted title at a ceremony held in London last night.

The award recognises destinations that have created a compelling and memorable brand that attracts and engages travellers while delivering measurable results against their tourism objectives. VisitGuernsey was selected ahead of a strong field of finalists, including global destination marketing organisations such as Visit California. The win is a proud moment for VisitGuernsey and everyone involved in developing and launching the destination brand. It recognises the strategy, creativity and collaboration that have helped showcase Guernsey to new audiences and strengthen its position as a must-visit destination.

The Awards recognise those considered to be making an impact across a wide spectrum of travel marketing disciplines and see the biggest and most well-known brands coming together including carriers, agencies, destinations and leading individuals. The award-winning brand was developed in partnership with creative agency TPA, with the shared ambition of creating an authentic identity that captures the island's unique character and inspires people to experience Guernsey for themselves.

Receiving the award is a significant milestone for the team and reflects the impact of a strong, consistent destination brand in an increasingly competitive tourism market. It also reinforces the success of VisitGuernsey's ongoing marketing activity, helping to raise the island's profile and encourage more visitors to choose Guernsey for their next getaway.

The recognition is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved and celebrates the passion, innovation and teamwork behind a brand that continues to put Guernsey firmly on the map.

Lead Marketing Officer, States of Guernsey, Zoe Gosling said:

‘For a small team from a small place it is a seismic achievement. We work so hard and we do so much and for industry leaders to judge us and say we do it better than any other destination feels good. It answers the critics and validates that we are indeed the best there is. We are now the ones to beat. I’m so proud of the work we do and I’m exceptionally proud of the States of Guernsey marketing team who do it.’
