These include participation in reactive campaigns driven by visitor insights, partnership opportunities at travel trade events, and involvement in local activities that we showcase beyond the island.
Our brand-new food festival launches in spring 2026 and will take place each April and October, celebrating Guernsey’s vibrant food culture while supporting local businesses and attracting visitors during the shoulder seasons.

We are delighted to confirm the return of the joint Channel Islands stand at ITB Berlin, Europe’s largest travel trade show. In partnership with Visit Jersey, we’re pleased to extend participation opportunities to our island partners.

‘Rendez-vous aux Jardins’ is a Europe-wide celebration of garden heritage held annually on the first weekend of June. Guernsey is exploring hosting the Channel Islands’ official launch in 2026, with support from local gardens, tourism partners, and the French Ministry of Culture. Participation is flexible, but early registration is encouraged in order to help gardens gain visibility in national campaigns and press coverage. Free admission is preferable. Once again, VisitGuernsey will be attending the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, in order to network with thousands of travel professionals.Businesses attending WTM can build international partnerships, connect with key industry players, and gain insights into global travel trends. Guernsey is joining a European celebration of Norman Heritage. In 2027, Europe will mark the 1000th anniversary of William the Conqueror’s birth with 'Millenium – 2027 European Year of the Normans', a continent-wide cultural programme celebrating the legacy of the Normans. VisitGuernsey is working with Normandie Tourisme and international partners to showcase Guernsey’s unique Norman heritage.
