The airline has increased its summer flight frequency to Exeter Airport from three to five flights per week from the 2 April, now operating on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays – representing a 66% increase in seat capacity. The Thursday and Saturday rotations are new additions to the airline's schedule.
The news is expected to be welcomed by many students at the University of Exeter & Falmouth University who have their home roots in Guernsey. The change will also strengthen air travel options for the South of England market, helping to offset the loss of UK–Guernsey day-return ferry services from the south coast last year.
Philip Saunders, Chief Commercial Officer at Aurigny, said: “While fleet growth is focused on supporting strong lifeline routes to Southampton and Jersey; it also provides opportunity for enhancements to Guernsey’s connectivity via targeted enhancements across our wider network.
“In this regard, we’re very much looking forward to building on our already strong partnership with the whole team at Exeter Airport for Summer 2026, strengthening links that support tourism in both directions, from the beaches, countryside and heritage of Devon and the West Country to Guernsey’s island experiences, history and natural beauty.”
Stephen Wiltshire, Managing Director of Exeter Airport, said: “We’re delighted to see Aurigny strengthening its Guernsey-Exeter service for summer 2026. This increase in frequency is great news for Guernsey residents and visitors looking to enjoy everything the island has to offer. Our partnership with Aurigny plays an important role in maintaining strong, reliable links between Guernsey and the West Country, and we look forward to welcoming even more passengers through Exeter Airport over the summer season.”
To celebrate the news, the airline is offering over 800 seats for just £29-99 one-way on selected flights booked by Friday, the 23rd of January.
