A new inbound fare will be launching this month for visitors from the south of England to experience a taste of island life. To support the launch, Aurigny partnered with VisitGuernsey on a campaign focusing on day trips from Southampton Airport. This new product will run throughout August and September this year. Building on the success of previous day-trip campaigns, the initiative aims to inspire first-time visits and encourage future longer stays.
Following four spontaneous travellers the itinerary showcased what's possible in just 8 hours.

Brittany Ferries is taking bookings for travel between Guernsey, Poole and St Malo* up to 07 November 2027 following publication of its high-speed timetable from November this year.
The timetable closely mirrors 2026, with peak season sailings to St Malo and departures to Poole departing up to six days a week aboard Voyager, the fastest ship in the Brittany Ferries’ fleet, capable of speeds up to 42 knots (48 mph). The schedule offers frequent travel for Islanders and supports the local tourism and hospitality sectors by maintaining consistent timings with the previous two seasons. The service will also see one weekly trip to Jersey, in line with the contract signed with the States of Guernsey in 2025.

We've reached 1m website visits year to date! This represents a slight increase on the same time last year, and a great mid-year milestone. It’s great news that visitors still see our award-winning website as a trusted source of information when researching their break.

The team at the Visitor Information Centre ("VIC") have been busy, welcoming 8086 visitors in July alone.
So far this year (Jan - July), they have helped 25,343 visitors with their enquiries, a year on year increase of 3344 (13%).
Pop into the centre and say hello to the team, making sure they have your business details and any promotional materials you'd like us to share with visitors.

We’re beginning work to better understand and promote autism-friendly tourism experiences across the Islands.
We know that many tourism businesses already make adjustments to help autistic visitors and their families feel welcome, whether through quiet spaces, sensory-friendly sessions, trained staff, accessible information or other supportive measures. However, this information is often difficult for visitors to find when planning a trip.
As a first step, we're building a picture of what is currently available across Guernsey's tourism sector.
We'd love to hear from you if your business offers any autism-friendly facilities, services, events or initiatives, or if you're planning improvements in this area.
